The cvs version works fairly decent on amd64, some movies still have problem displaying (flash v > 7) and the cpu utilization may grow even with small movies (experienced that with banners). Still, is a lot better than having to run a 32bit browser because of flash.

I emerged this on an amd64 machine and it plays some things well but consistently crashes me back to my login screen if I attempt to view certain sites.

My compile crashed midway for version 0.7.1. so I assume that is why the AMD64 arch is not even included yet.

Why isn't there an ~amd64 version? Does it lack developers or testers to work on it? In my view, the lack of a 64 bit flash player is one of the biggest drawbacks in the amd64 arch.
