To use 1.5.2, simply copy the 1.5.1 ebuild and rename it to contain 1.5.2. Then, run ebuild "lyx-1.5.2.ebuild" digest and emerge.

A slightly modified version of the 1.4.2 ebuild can be used to install LyX 1.4.:
